Six years ago a group of four friends started a 'haunted' yard using cardboard tombstones, a cardboard coffin, and dry ice as fog. Even though this was a somewhat plain yard, it was well received by the neighborhood. As a result, we had another yard the following year. This time we had a wooden coffin, realistic looking tombstones, double the actiors (8 that year) and a fog machine. The turnout was simply amazing. The following year, we (and the event) moved to Westfield. Again, we made many improvements to our yard including another fog machine, a blacklight tunnel, a full cemetary, and a sound system. Again, the turn out was amazing. The most impressive part of this all is that this was done with little to no promotion.

In 2000, we realized that each year we get better and bigger, so we decided to put our talents to a good cause. After researching local charities, we decided to affiliate ourselves with Kamp for Kids, a non-profit organization designed to integrate children with and without developmental disabilities in a camp setting. After meeting with Kamp for Kids, they donated the use of a house on the camp's property. Being the first year affiliated with Kamp for Kids, we weren't sure what to expect, so we decided to hold the event over the course of one weekend. Despite the poor weather, the turnout was phenomenal! The director from Kamp for Kids approached us and asked us to do two weekends in 2001. What ghoulish suprises are in store for you in 2002? Stay tuned to find out!

We truly hope to see you there - you will NOT be disappointed!
